The music, our dance

by monica   Jan 30, 2010

Why onto mine arm do you hold so tightly?
as we waltz and saunter into the surrounding choas.
the soft, sweet music travels o'er the crowd so lightly
as the masqeraded mob, clad in velvet, surround us.
Like a ship on calm waters, we sway
Just before the storm
I'm so glad to be with you, here today
my love hath tooken form.
for i believe, we have a love unlike any in the land
this music, holds you and I in quite a trance
As i extend out my hand
"may I have this dance"
Your fingers slowly slip into mine,
and we are forever lost, in a world of rhythm and time.
