Hidden Labyrinth

Hidden Labyrinth

Sunset, bright red...the colour of bloodshed.
Ancient history has taught us nothing
They make it sound so easy at the school...
Reality is not what it seems to be
Dont expect more from the things that you see
Deep down inside, a faintest cry might be heard
Just listen closely, listen still
You will hear the only thing that's missing
Is inside of yourself and in nobody else
Tears fall, drowned in the sea of lies
Leave now before sorrow awakens
Never feel guilt because I wanted this friend

Lost in the hidden labyrinth at the sea
Drowning in the vast pool of insecurity
Scrutinizing every single breath I take
Criticizing each step I try to make
Suddenly, a light glimmers ahead
Hope its the end not the light from a train
A path that may lead somewhere safe
Just follow through don't be afraid
Someones guiding us tonight
With a lantern in his hand that has glow so bright
Unending tragedy, when will you be tired?
Of ruining my life and of the one's that I love

Tick tock... the time is near its end
Like a lullaby with a happy sad goodbye
Lips curve into a grin, unknowingly
I am desperately happy as you could see
Im not faking this; its what I really feel
Look above, there are fireworks everywhere
Im travelling in a place only dead men know
Listen closely now for the last thing I say
Thank you for giving me happiness even just in the end
You are now alone, go find a new adventure
This labyrinth was never for us to share
Dont say goodbye for it never was and never will be
Between us, a love unsaid was more than the lies you say
