Ceasing these beatings

My heart wishes to cease this numbing feeling.
Totally scarred up and ripped apart by these painful beatings.
How much will I go through until my lungs stop breathing?
Cutting so deeply to watch my wrist weeping.
Taste the silence this devilish act is bringing,
all from the simple, yet powerful bleeding.
Room spinning as this blade slowly silences the screaming.
Everything goes hush except for the steadily slowing beating,
of my heart that's dying out from everything that has broken me.
