Love is...

by Sarah   Feb 10, 2010

Love is...
when you wake up with no worry in mind.
When you are walking through the store and there is no line.
When the sun is warm enough to make the flowers grow,
when the breeze is cool enough to make goose bumps show.

When bad hair day is a thing of the past.
When cars never break down or run out of gas.
When birds fly, and angels sing.
When your first kiss means everything.

When the word alone is all forgotten.
When happiness springs like a fountain.
When work is easy and a light load.
When "I love you" never grows old.

    Sarah,
I really quite enjoyed this poem!! A few lines were humorous, which I enjoy getting a laugh every now and then.

^^ I thought that was a great simile! "Springs" was a good verb to use, I really loved that line, and the ending sentence that followed.
Your poem was very cute and well written I loved it!
