Stolen So Fast (Swept Off My Feet.)

by FlowerThatDied   Feb 11, 2010

I can feel my body falling beneath your quick sand,
I can feel the need to reach for your hand,
What strange, precious lies are these,
To fall for someone you simply tease?

I can bow out of your life quiet easily,
The thought of it makes me queasy,
Let it in, don't fear the thrill,
Take this heart for that spot to fill.

I must confess you've pulled me in,
There's nothing worse that this particular sin,
It's not right, not fair to you,
To feel this way or want to do.

I feel the need to pull you high,
And drop you from the brightest sky,
I feel the need to catch you again,
To hold you close and let this feeling remain.

It's a crush that crushes my strict mind,
It's a game though dice I cannot find,
You are something so toxic my dear,
There is nothing but this I could ever fear
And yet I feel so safe and secure,
In your quiet world where all is pure.
