Fairytale.

by FlowerThatDied   Feb 11, 2010

You, my darling, were once a blanket of rain,
You clouded me in mist until I was going insane,
You, my love, built a world that was acceptable,
You were the darkness and I was the submissable.

I, my prince, was Rapunzel in this tale,
I found myself locked in your ideas and ready to fail,
I, my sugar, broke into shards of hard, sharp glass,
I found I was no one but who you made when it came to pass.

We, my friend, pulled each others puppet strings,
We had a love affair for the darkest of things,
We, my forever, stole the skies and made them black,
We both know now there's no way back.

Our story, my angel, was burned in the flames,
Our future only has us to blame,
Our plans, my darling, were so set in stone,
I don't know how to get back home.
