Better beginning than an end

by Mauricio Jarvis   Feb 12, 2010

Through the fog of morning May,
her smile brightened up my day.
Because our love was pure gold,
I thought that it would always hold.

Didn't think that I would find,
myself in this place and time.
Alone and afraid,
Step into the light of day.

People'll say that i'm a jerk,
but this relationship is to much work.
Standing here I'll let her know,
i'm feeling low and I must go.

As tears fall from my face,
I'll miss you believe me i will.
We hugged, she turned and walked away,
goodbye my love, my comfort.
