Lost Love

by FlowerThatDied   Feb 15, 2010

I love how it says 'Lost love'
As if I lost you in the breeze,
As if I couldn't find you through the mist,
As if I searched through the trees.

I love how it says 'Lost love'
As if it wasn't 'Destructive love'
As if I'm not glad it's gone,
As if I wasn't the freed white dove.

I love how it says 'Lost love',
As if I don't I laugh everytime,
As if the lies and the cheating was 'lost',
As if I'm not trying to once again be fine.

I love how it says 'Lost love'
As if this gun doesn't feel great against my head,
As if you're so 'lost' you won't hear what a mess I am,
As if this isn't where I was left and lead.

I love how it says 'Lost love'
As if I don't hate knowing it is 'lost',
As if I hate knowing I 'lost' You long ago,
As if I don't realise missing you has it's cost.
