Once Upon A Dream

by Cate Rock   Feb 16, 2010

In a room void of light.

It might have been night...not sure.

I look off out into the distance.
I raise my hand in search of the lights' trace.
But it isn't a light it's a young mans' face.

I shiver at his cold skin.
I say nothing just stair,
just breathing him in.

A grow from his pale skin
almost warms my palm.
His sleepy eyes taking me all in.
His easy soft breath keeing me calm.

God I love the way his eyes melt into mine.
How I cherish how they just glow and shine.

I feel he holds a secret
one very very old.
Maybe it's his smile
or how his eyes shimmer like gold.

But before a question could pass m lips,
he fades into a eerie mist.
