I remember you
With every aching bone in my body
Especially these empty hands
With nothing but lonely left to hold

Names they wrote in the sand
Now washed away
My heart longs to know
If you remember me

Faded pictures make it harder to see
Tears and time have made me blind
All I can do is sit and wonder
If you have a memory

Oh promiscuous love
Please tell me
Do you long for me
Like I long for you?

    And now you're on my list of favourite poets. I'm blown away by the honesty of your writing.

    These are a couple of my favourite lines, I always love poetry that talks about hands, I'm not entirely sure why but there you have it. Again I have no improvements to suggest for this poem, it's stunning and has inspired me beyond belief. I can't wait to read more of your poems.

    Great lines Jenn. I could picture the names in the sand slowly washing away.
