Almost A Year
By:Natalie K. Heym

Almost A Year
We've had good times and even shed tears
I didn't think it would last so long
I now now I am very much wrong

It's hard to separate us
We miss each other too much
We are poor, get board, and don't know what to do
It's okay though, we will always be together like glue

We are engaged to be married
The world doesn't care, they rather us gays be buried
I want you to be my wife
With you is where I want to spend all my life

Take my heart,it's all your's
I am done dealing with all the w.h.o.r.e.s
You are the best woman I've ever had
You know we got the best, and I am glad...

I love you, Angela!!!!

Good poem, loved the emotions displayed and the fact you didn't hide your feelings behind big words. The honesty is really good and it kept me going for the entire poem.

A few spelling mistakes here and there, but nothing major. (think you meant bored when you wrote board.)
