Still Kissed Me.

by FlowerThatDied   Mar 2, 2010

Strange turn of events are these,
Didn't think I'd feel this way again,
Shivers running down my spine,
Inexcusable, beautiful pain.

Trembling hands at the thought,
I stare down at keys without knowing what to say,
How can it be? Making my head come round,
Don't understand how anyone could like me that way.

You're so fragile, a piece of beauty all alone,
You're awkward and nervous it's such a pretty stage,
I feel the nerves set in though I won't admit,
I'm loving the idea of a changing page.

Kiss the wounds and let them fade,
It's what you attempted on that night,
I love the way you smile, so pure,
And still kissed me in morning light.
