Bar's on my Heart

Every time they leave I go to this place.
The sky is red yet darker than it would be without the moon.
Colder than the Antarctica .

It feels like I'm he only one here.
I wonder around trying to figure if I remember it.
I soon begin to find that I've been here before.

Its so cold and I feel so alone, like never before.
I want to go home, but realize I have no home.
I start to run as the wind is pushing me back.

I run threw the fields of gray trying to find a way.
Trying to find someone, anyone.
Its starts to rain. I run threw the trees and suddenly come to a stop.
I look up trying to see how high these bars are.
I start crying...I then look ahead of me and see him standing there.
Wondering when I'm coming out of this place.

I yell his name but he cant hear me, he then starts to pull away.
I say, "Wait! Wait!! Please!! Ill find a way!"
He's already gone.

I cant wait anymore, I don't want to be here, I need him.
Why am I here?
No sooner than I've said, answers come to mind.

"This is your palace, no one can come into it unless you yourself lets them in.
Its your get away, so you don't get hurt, so you can forget."

Once I forget, it will be my second chance to try again.
And get these bars off my heart.
To open up to someone like I never did before.

I look back again and it all looks the same till I hear a familiar voice.
I close my eyes trying to remember.

I open them, and see the ceiling of my bedroom,
my mom knocking, telling me to unlock the door.

I get up with a terrible headache like always just worse wishing it would stop soon.
It all feels so real.
But when I look at the clock I've only been asleep for 5 hours.
When is this dream going to stop?
