Repeating patterns

by Milla   Apr 14, 2010

The heaving of my chest, relaxes the tension in my neck.
Reminding me that I've been here before.
The same but different fingers, slipping over my collar bone. Leaving trails of memories behind.
The smell of forbidden fruit lingers in the air, soaking into my heart. The hands caress my shoulders blades, re-tearing scars that soon have healed.
I can feel his breath on the back of my neck, the tingling sensation of the past washing over me. His words are kinder but the same as the other. I'm reliving the same past i just got over. My dreams becoming nightmares that have haunted me for so long. What i thought had died, resurrected in something new.
Fate crossed the path of pain, being such great companions before, not knowing how to make a clean get away.
My thoughts provoking me to further into the arms that tighten around my heart, squeezing what ever new hope i regained.
Though i already know the ending of the tale, i jump anyhow. Falling into the air of repeating patterns that will haunt me till I'm grey and broken apart.
