Heartless.

by FlowerThatDied   May 3, 2010

I always change the topic,
I always change the name,
So it does not hit too close to home
And start to drive me insane,
It seems I'm far beyond that point,
It's hard to see a way back now,
I'd turn back but I'm not sure how.

I don't understand what happened here,
I'm lost in the debrie,
I wish I could just forget your face,
And your silent, glaring decree.
I sit in a crowded room,
Feeling so hopelessly alone,
All I want to do...I just want to go home.

I want to forget your features,
I want to forget your eyes,
I want to hate your every breath,
I hope the memory dies.
I want to wrip your heart out,
And throw it to the floor,
To know that you could never feel or be anymore.

Love is so beautiful and deadly. I could really relate with this poem along with many others probably. The description was great and continued to flow throughout your poem. My favorite stanza was the last one. Nice work
