Shame Of A Rebounding HATEache.

by FlowerThatDied   May 3, 2010

Your rib cage is a-breaking,
On the roots of your deceit,
The lies they are so fleeting,
And the horse cannot retreat,
Circling back in time now,
To a past we cannot recall,
To travel forward I don't know how,
But you want to see me fall?
Spinning in a meadow,
Dancing in the grass,
Finding the dark threads you sew,
As we watch the stars and moon pass,
The time has come again,
For my body to reawake,
Shaking and sweating in sweet shame,
As this reality begins to take,
You left me with a shiver,
The cold without a sound,
I cannot see myself in the mirror,
I am lost in the hopelessness I've found.
Do not speak a word to me,
I cannot stand this hate,
I've lost all I could seem to be,
In a broken, wild fate.
