The Baby's

by Dacey Flame   May 5, 2010

The blind trust of a child
To your eager outstretched hands
When was the moment your mind warped?
Does it even matter now?
When you lied, did you think memories faded so easy?
Preying on the awe of a baby
Only wanting to be just like you
Blissed to have a secret with you
The none else shared
Something just of the baby's
Your corruption was the baby's ecstasy
Your confidence was the baby's trust
Your insignificant gain
Was the baby's unknowing downfall
