I Believe in Brotherhood

by Tripp   May 21, 2010

So accept this - my sacrifice
as I lay my throat bare...
I lay weakened before your eyes
go ahead pull the trigger - if you dare

Because for them I would suffer
for them I would surely die
their mere presence makes me tougher
this is a bond of brothers - I won't lie...

A bond smithed in love
tempered stronger than steel
love that brotherhood does
love that I always will feel

I'd follow them into battle
with a blindfold over my eyes
and with my death rattle
I'd proclaim my love for these guys

We're of the same blood
born to different mothers
been through dirt, water, mud
yet we've conquered all others

I'd go to battle for them
like they would battle for me
I'd fight again and again
just so that they could see

This is camaraderie;

I love these guys...
they're brothers to me
