Summer

by Taylor   May 22, 2010

You left me colder than
December ever could.
Wisdom
lost among
the big parks and
unfamiliar faces of a
time when things felt right.
Are you changed now?
With the sun of summer
infusing every displaced
memory.
And time forging a gap
just as wide as the land.
Leaving me
shivering underneath blue skies.
