Little Mocking Bird

Sweet Little Mocking Bird
Truly it was your voice I heard
when my heart began aflutter
and my voice began to stutter

Long dark hair
and skin so fair
if any a flaw
I wouldn't even care
because to me
your perfection
absolutely

Little Mocking Bird
with your smile at night
like a crescent moon light
and the feeling it passes
from under those glasses
just feels so right

No Little Mocking Bird
I wont let you go
wont let you take flight
for you are the one
who's worth the fight

But I wont clip your wings
let you see other things
knowing inside
you wont hide
you will come back
