I despise..

I despise the fact that i dont notice anymore,
how often you make my heart sink to the floor.
i despise the fact that one look at you and i smile,
even if we havent spoken in awhile.
i despise the fact that im so dangerously head over heals,
with a boy that has no idea how that feels.
i despise the fact that im lost when your gone,
i feel so confussed, though its only the crack of dawn.
i despise the fact, that with you i feel free,
always knowing you will come and rescue me.

but what i think i despise most of all,
is knowing that you are never gonna let me fall.
and with that i am scared,
more then i could ever be dared.
because though i am young and a mere dove,
i truly fear, i might secretly be in love.
