With tears in her eyes, she moved on

by Margaret Ruthfi Thomas   Jul 17, 2010

As she falls on her knees, and the worlds weight follow soon after.
the tears that drop down like ice, froze her like a sculpture
Her sobs and weeps, was released at last
But still... she couldn't let go of the past

The tears that falls, that she wasted.
The voices that she screamed.
The rain was louder.
She wasn't heard.

She was scared, and alone.
She tried to walk tall.
She tried to be brave and strong.
With tears in her eyes, she moved on.

With her face held up high
from the dead, she spawn
She spread her wings, she fly
Even with tears in her eyes, she moved on.

The cracks in her heart, are never gone
The hollow holes were never filled
She never stop to think, She knows she'd have to go on.
To replace the time, that was killed.

With the heartache in her head
She seem to forget
The way out behind the dread
There's always a friend, to see the sunset.

They were proud to call her a friend.
for she is strong and brave
They will always be there till the end
in the end, till they reach their grave

She kept her distance
they kept her close
cause friendship is an essence
a light in the darkness that glows
