Happy Birthday Angel

Many many happy returns of the day Sweetheart,
Hard to believe that it was just 20 years back when,
The earth smiled with sheer joy,
God had sent an angel on it in the form of a boy.

The proud mother looked at her newborn child,
Small oval face and gentle eyes,
Soft innocent features,a cute smile,nothing imperfect,
Any other form couldn't have been more perfect.

Years later, what happened was meant to be,
I met the angel and knew he was for me,
Was it those gentle eyes or the smile did it?
I was head over heels in love with whatever was it.

Now standing besides my angel, my hand in his,
I reflect upon the moment he walked into my life,
Adding so many colors, their beauty I can't define,
Caressing my hand softly, he looks so fine.

Not a day goes by when I don't thank Him,
Afterall,blessed I had been with His masterpiece,
Perfectly compatible with me you are, dear angel,
Nothing to doubt, made for each other we are, my angel!
