I CAN WISH THAT I WAS THERE

We both know that I am not with you,
but how I wish that I was there,
just to show you my true feelings,
and to show you that I care,
we could walk out in the sunshine,
or in the evening light,
be together every morning,
be together every night,
listen to the music,
that mother nature sings,
fly to outer spaces,
just as if we had wings,
or just hold each other,
like sweethearts often do,
it really doesn't matter,
as long as I'm with you.
