I'm not hungry

I'm trying to find the beauty in the world but i can't get passed the fact that this forest is polluted with power lines.
And construction bleeps right beyond this line of trees.
I'm trying to see the beauty but i can't get passed these motions of remodeling.
The workers think it's for the best but i disagree.
This remodeling that the earth is undergoing.
This tiredness and proudness of a day without visible infliction is what i'm asking for.

So this is the sneakiest thing i've got.
And...I'm happily not hungry lying here on my couch in the woods
beneath a plane spitting gas
hiding from the inevitable and unavoidable hum of society.
My stomach growls
I am not hungry.

I love the earth
I say
I love the earth
but i destroy is with a couch
I love the insects
I say
I love them but i kill them with chemical spray
I hate technology
I hate it
I hate it
But i bought a computer and would die with my ipod.

I hate material things
Yet my room is cluttered with unimportant things
I am a disgusting hypocritical vial contradiction
And my stomach growls
But i am not hungry
And i say I'll call
Yet the phone is in my bag and I won't pick it up.
I'll never pick it up
Cuz i'm not ready
And my stomach's growling
But I'm not hungry.
I'm not hungry.
