Cravings

by Toxic Perfection   Aug 20, 2010

Ever get the feeling where you want someone to hold?
Someone to wrap their arms around you when your feeling cold?
Someone to tell you everyday how beautiful you are,
And how your eyes are stunning and shine brighter than a star.
Their fingers leave a blazing trail on your cool bare skin,
Yet leave you with a chill that only their touch warms up again.
There's craving and longing in every smile, a message in every glance
A message saying, "come over and kiss me" and you jump at every chance.
They fill your hunger, quench your thirst, yet leave you wanting more
And when you get it, you still crave them, more than you did before.
I'm always wishing for that feeling, the longing's in my heart,
The hoping that I'll find somebody that'll love me from the start.
I'm waiting patiently each day for someone to come along
Always dreaming 'bout true love; it's like my favorite song.
But I'm still young, Have lots of time, and although I'm growing fast,
I know my time has not yet come, I know it hasn't passed.
So ladies and gents that know the feeling that I've described above,
Whether it's being like me and hoping, or that you've found your love:
Never give up on feeling that your love will come one day,
And never leave you; they'll stay by your side and never fade away
