We're two kids playing 'neath the olive shade
Where beside a little brook chattering
'Midst forget-me-nots and roses in braid,
Tiny fish in the brook play hovering,
The song of the west wind is lullaby,
Nature's rainbow is the cradle for us,
We're the lovers to every passers-by
Who stops and learns the art of love afresh.
Day never ends, night never comes, we sing
And the notes we make are the twinkling stars,
The rhymes are the string of flowers in swing,
And dreams we have ride on the magic House.
Child-like thoughts have no mindless messages
And we're the children of love for ages.
