Glow

by Katie Rose   Aug 27, 2010

We stand on this grassy hill
Watching the sun rise.
We say our Greetings,
And make promises for the dawning day.
Your face is glowing.
I don't know if it's the sun rays or you,
But I'm glowing too.

We stand on that grassy hill,
Watching the sun set.
We say our farewells,
And regret those broken promises of that day.
Your face is glowing.
I don't know if it's the sun rays or you,
But I'm glowing too.

We stand on our grassy hill,
While the moon is full.
You say "I love you."
And I say say it too.
Your face is glowing.
This time I know it's you,
And only you,
Thats making me glow.

That was beautiful, really a great poem, loved the structure, gave it a start middle end that summed up an elegant tale of love. Congrats.

Thank you very much for the comment and the rating. I wrote this when I was 12 so it's very childish compared to some poems on here. Thank You so much.
