Red-orange Collision

by Faith   Sep 13, 2010

The October leaves will soon begin to fall
Making a blur in our vision
as we walk hand in hand
Waiting for the red-orange collision

We stop to look up to the falling sky
Enticed by all of the colors
Then I look into your eyes
To see our past but smaller

I see when I first took your hand
When I felt the warmth on your cheek
When your face turned the color of the leaves
When we both started to feel weak

I see the reflection of the fire
The same burning inside of me
Now I know I can't wait to dream
Of what this fall will be
