To stare at monsters

Dec 24

Above us a cold calm sky watched the silent streets of Springfield.

the moon peered from behind dark clouds

providing adequate light exposing man perched on balcony

tonight man formulated the most wicked of intentions.

"She believes I am In love with another women, I would never tell her she is correct"

In the room sh waits in her gown

Vulnerable, unexpected...

tonight she will know its dark embrace

without ever understanding why...

She summons the man only to be meet by damnation bearing down upon her

Face to face with a revolver

at this very instant

we knew each other.

At the end of the long narrow shaft

a bullet sleeps in the chamber.

The last vision your soft glossy eyes gaze on.

Ears pop due to intense bang

the stench of powder and burning brains followed the flash of fire

Head burst as if pressurized from guilt within

blood draped across ever curtain, every wall, every display

vandalizing the small room

warm scarlet memories scatter

littering the carpet

the room grew increasingly grotesque

reflecting my very transformation

Tonight Hades is persistent, Hades is lonely

but not for long

before I make peace with the universe

i pay my last respect quietly without fuss.

I am a horror, amongst horrors i must dwell.
