Where I belong

by Black Heart Still Beating   Sep 25, 2010

I feel the threads of my heart
tug
when I'm away from you.
I toss and turn,
trying to shake my thoughts
loose
of you.
I'm going insane when you
say those little things
that make me want to
kiss you.
I can smell you on my skin
and still taste you on my lips.
And I'm going crazy from
missing you.
I want you here beside me
when I wake up.
I want you to hold me tighly so I
can share your heat.
I want to hold you close to my heart.
and feel you under my skin.
I need you to know.
I'm not sure where my love begins.
You don't say much,
but you always manage to say the
right things.
When you hold me closely
and I can hear your heart beat strong,
I know that right here in your arms,
is really where I
belong.
I feel the threads of my heart
tug
when I'm away from you.
