Nothing left to do

by Confined   Sep 29, 2010

What would I do?
Even if I had you,
What could we do?

these nights drag on for years

This means everything
but who am I to say;
This feeling wont change.
Who am i to say,
You wont be there.

I say to you "less is less",
the days grow shorter
and the nights are colder;
With you around,
they're bound to be bearable.

Ive missed your touch;
Your breath in my ear,
softly whispering in the dark,
your lips against mine.

The smile fades with time.

This is the last I'll write.
The last time I'll write about you.

    I loved this, very beautiful, the ending really grabbed me, closing a chapter. Such an easily relateable piece. Great work.
