Mellow

by Richard S   Oct 3, 2010

It is said that fine wine,
Mellows with age.
But it is also true that most wine,
Is best consumed while new.

We have been together four years now.
Have we mellowed,
Or are the flavours still discernible.
Are there still textures to the grapes.

As Dylan T would say (out of context).
I do not go gently into that good night.
I refuse to MELLOW my passion for you.
I revel in the newness of the layers of your textures.

I refuse to be MELLOW.
I will always seek, with passion,
The subtleties of your vintage,
And have you taste mine.
