It was in the midnight when I first felt his touch
A tear stained pillow and a shattered heart
He whispered so gently
Scooped me up in his arms
and comforted me.
He did not leave that night
This was not a 'no strings attached' relationship
But HE had come to stay
I had the final choice.
"What do you see when you look so lovingly?"
I asked him.
Before He could answer I said, tears streaming from my eyes
"I'm crushed, torn, the colourful walls of my life had been whitewashed"
He drew me close and laid my head on His chest
I heard his heartbeat
" I have come, so that you might have Life"
He is no longer a guest in my room, he now resides in my Heart.
