His Voice

It echo's through my heart
It can tear me apart
It never leaves my mind
Repeating certain lines...
I long to hear again
I fall more in love
Waiting for that call
Wanting to be his all
My heart skips a beat,
and I jump to my feet
The phone rings, but it's not for me
Just when will be,
Be the one to bring...
That smile to my face again
If just even for awhile.
