Long lasted our eternity

by Maria   Oct 24, 2010

The night almost lasted as long as our eternity,
A whole 24 hours and 6 minutes.
You faded away as fast as the lowering of the sun,
You left with no hesitation to that goodbye.

Lies now unwinding to a blind truth,
A reality so hard to notice.
Their eyes told me to look and see,
But was horribly blinded by the child in me.

Screams entering the world at such high capacity,
Memories circling around like hard winds.
Lost in the feeling of what was,
And stuck in the truth of what is.

No life lesson was learned that night,
Nor was there any point to the ending.
Possibility came and went in the blink of an eye,
Its now, that the loneliness sinks in.
