In days gone by we loved each other,
We smiled and played and held each other
In times gone by we kissed each other
We laughed and loved and missed each other

Today we look back and miss those times
we wonder where it all went wrong.
Today we look back and wonder
What if we did something different?

Can the past be erased by the future?
Can we smile and love and hold again?
Can we be the ones for each other?
Can we trust like we once did?

In days gone by we loved each other
Can we have those times again?
Today we wonder what will happen.
Can we trust each other again?
