Long lost love

by Shane Hazelbaker   Nov 2, 2010

She keeps pushing desperately,
As she slaps his hand and walks away.
She knows that she was a fool,
she can't plunge in, so she sits there lost;
Can't quite believe it's deep enough.

To lose him would be just dessert,
but all the while that she tries
to shake him off and lick the wounds,
She's terrified he won't return,
and her love,
Just passes her bye,
There paths may cross but untill then she is left to cry...
