Hahah...yup but thinking about it right now its more like the humans are the pets for the pets! Without them our lives will not be filled with a smile, they are good listeners and will not turn away from us and the list goes on; for a pet yeah..hey humans feed us, bathe us walk us and the list goes on.

But one thing though Sir, when the master dies the pet too goes...the very sadness kills them. I've seen this in my family. Enjoyed this read sorry for the long comment!

      I love your long comments!

I've seen the pets that die of broken hearts also (people do that as well).

I've seen other pets whose lives became so bad after their master's death that it would have been more charitable to let them go.
My wife & I rescued one such, a Chihuahua, and were very glad we did. She'd been passed from one grown child to another and nobody really wanted her except their mom had her when the mom died.
