The Paridox of love

by Harlee   Dec 13, 2010

I Know and I Hope......
Dreams long past and gone to actual reality and it sinks in
In God's time, not ours and perhaps we'll win
Where dreams and reality collide and combine to become one
In time we grow and time will show that we won't run
Away to hills that symbolize aloneness and fear
I hope of a day to reunite in our love
Approved from the Power from up above
Until then, sleep eludes me as a result of your absent presence by my side
The darkest void inside my mind is where I hide
To grieve a most beautiful relationship that has died
It seems some days have to many hours to bare
As the truth thrashes me with the fact that it's not fare
As I reach for you and find nothing there
I carry your love in my mind, body and soul
As the grieving of you takes its toll
I love you. Forever, deeply, strongly, erotically
And pleasantly
I stand here knowing, hoping, wanting
My desires seem taunting,
memories haunting.
I sit confused, chilled and sad
Over all the experiences we've had
I lay here and hope you come to love me softly, gently
And generously.
Until then my love, my best friend,
I know and I hope....
