Falling in Love at Four

by ntv650   Jan 30, 2011

He trotted over the road
And danced along the path,
He shimmed up a lamp-post
And waved to the dustbin-man.
He saw a cat and he saw a fox
And bid good day to them both.
He nodded to the rising sun
And bowed to a fence post.
It was four O'clock in the morning
And a man fell in love.

Can't say I've ever read a poem like this but it's genius in its simplicity! Love it.
