Tomorrow the Sun will Set

by Slaughtered Pixie   Feb 6, 2011

Tomorrow the sun will set, the same as it did today
I will wake up to the sun shining, in the exact same way
The wind will still blow and the traffic will continue
Water will fall from great lengths, and the old woman still in the shoe
All of the birds will still be singing, the dogs will still bark
The sun will still rise and it will definitely get dark
Portland will always light up and Oregon is still green
The city is still my home, my heart still belongs to trees
California takes my breath away, the sky will still be blue
Roses will still be my favorite, and I'm still in love with you
My heart is still breaking, whenever I look in your eyes
This pain will still be aching, my tears will still sigh
I'm still drowning in this sorrow, tell me why can't we be?
Your smile still melts my heart, I only wish that you could see
The hugs you give share warmth, your hands are so sweet
How you cuddle with me at night can never ever be beat
I don't want to give you up, you're my baby and I care
You're everything to me; our home, our life we share
When I say, "I love you baby," I mean it in the same way
And tomorrow the sun will set, the same as it did today
