A Little Paper Cup

by Ross H Bruce   Feb 7, 2011

Where are you my little paper cup?
With you on my hand I feel safe and sound.
When a stranger picked you up on the ground
You were gone and taken one more time.

I grow weaker without you my little paper cup.
I am longing for what your secret reveals inside.
If I wanted the memory of her and laughter we had
I would put you slowly upon my ear and closed my eyes.

When I closed my eyes I had felt you, my little paper cup.
I could sense the tenderness of her breath and mine.
When I kissed her softly and touched her inside
She whispered her love for me with all her heart.

I am looking for you my little paper cup
To reveal the secret of my lover's demise.
Help me find her heart for a price
And tell her, "I love you forever twice."
