The Darkness Below

by Your Savior   Feb 25, 2011

Here I am, just standing in the rain
hoping against hope it'll wash away this pain.
The cold drops like ice it's like acid on my skin
like a demon being tortured for a lifetime of sin.
I have brought to this world to much pain and sorrow
So tonight I'll say goodbye don't look for me come tomorrow.
I refuse to cause anymore heartache and tears
You'll forgive me eventually for giving into my fears.
If you only saw the visions in my head
You'd understand how they bring me down like lead.
I've seen to much and been capable of to little
Now I'm caught on the blade of a knife teetering in the middle
on one side I can feel the love flow
and on the other I see the darkness below.
I have been here before and I've always pulled through
but this time to much is at stake and I don't know what to do.
