Rubbed seems like an awkward word to me. Not sure what you'd replace it with but just seemed a bit awkward to read.

I love the image you wrote from, after reading the poem then looking at it, it really brought the poem together for me and made me understand some lines that I didn't in the first place.

You desrcibe what you see in the picture very well, MaryAnne....a very sad image indeed of a young girl lost, like so many are and always will be.
