For a friend so amazing and true
I shall write a poem just for you
You say you want it to be about certain things
So this poem isn't over until the zombie sings
If I could go back to the land before time
The experience would be so sublime
I would bring you there with me
We could meet Duckie and Petrie
Riding dinosaurs and eating star leaves
We'll come back telling a story no one believes
Sharing inside jokes
Laughing until someone chokes
Fluffy furry little kittens
We can help them find their lost mittens
Searching high and searching low
Maybe we can stop to eat some cookie dough
Reeses are so very yummy
So lets put some in our tummy
And if we get chased by a woolly bear
I'll throw a great big pear
I would never let anything hurt you
Not even a rubber chicken or a shoe
I would not let you get a zombie bite
With that zombie I surely would fight
I have come to the end of this poem
Would you ever dance with a garden gnome?
Around and around you could twirl
I love you, you silly girl!
