Last Dance

by Stephen Parker   Mar 16, 2011

Swooning in your tender embrace
Serenaded by your feminine charm
Shrouded with the glow of your face
Slow dancing the floor arm in arm

Silhouettes in the lucent night
Scents meld in the fawning heat
Sighs echo as gasps of air take flight
Sights transfix as lucid beams meet

Swaying to the throbbing beat of your bleating heart
Sharing time and space; twining writhing body and stolid soul
Swinging rhythmically as each nubile limb shares it's part
Squaring each touch; writing each note on your quivering scroll
