The Underpass (Untraditional Haiku)

by Soft Parade   Mar 21, 2011

Canopy overhead

Haunting nocturnal density

Cement footstep chills

-----------------------------------------------------------------
A Haiku is usually about nature, I did a little take on this for a man made structure - The Underpass

Syllable structure in place 5-7-5, unrhymed.

It's a Japanese form used for nature poetry.

Please rate and comment. If you have different takes on forms let me know, I love diversity.
