Staring into beautiful brown eyes

by beautifuldisaster   Mar 23, 2011

Staring into his beautiful brown eyes,
Absorbing every sentence,
Slowly flowing to my brain,
The meanings were plain.

My eyes dart back and forth,
Searching for a bluff,
But this time it was true,
There was nothing I could do.

Patience was what I had asked,
Was that so unfair?
It was and I knew it.
Too much, that I admit.

Expectations were too high,
And change never comes fast enough,
On this, the relationship, depended,
But instead it was ended.

There was no one to blame,
Just the sadness and pain,
Of two amazing lovers,
As I discover.

Staring into his beautiful brown eyes,
Absorbing every sentence,
Still seeing the most amazing man,
As my new life began.
