Past Regrets.

by LisaMay   Apr 4, 2011

Nothing can be as silent as a moment like this
Beneath the lies and the pain a sudden movement begins on your lips
The same words I've heard not too long ago
The same words I've heard when I knew I should of let you go

You can choose to do anything as you please
Don't bring me into the misery just for the sake of your own company
The worst things you could do to a girl in love
You choose to do when you could of just given up

Now here's to the confusion you lay upon my heart
Poisoning the only person I have, the only person to start
It may run through my body as fast as heroine
But the damage has been done, it's already been settled in

The shadows you've created behind the walls I tried to close
I never should of gave you a chance, never should of let it show
But now I know better, the little part of me
To those other pieces on the ground, I will pick up eventually.
